We spend so much time running behind the kids that we barely take time out for ourselves. We have only been on a trip alone without kids twice in 10 years. Well.....we made a promise to take a trip somewhere different every year without the kids. This summer we decided to go to Las Vegas and we had a blast.

I was determined to take a picture in front of this sign that I had Darrell walk 2 miles with me to get to it in over 100 degree heat.
We had so much fun. However, it did feel a little weird going to dinner and only ordering 2 meals. This trip was our first flight together but if it's God's will it will not be the last. We are thinking New York or Bahamas for the next trip.
